MMHA provides a preschool program for participants under 5 years of age, as of December 31st, which is tailored to introduce players and parents to skating and ice hockey.
This program is facilitated by a qualified coach and operated similar to the divisions, except it focusses solely on basic individual skill development through fun activities (there will be no drills and no formal games).
This program requires significant parent involvement, as this age group requires a higher level of supervision than other divisions.
The program will provide education for parents on the required personal protection equipment, including proper fit and application, as well as their role to ensure a successful hockey program.
